The Tailored Resume Assistant tool

The Tailored Resume Assistant is hosted on Streamlit Community Cloud and embedded on this site through an iframe. When you use the tool:

  • The content you enter (resume text, job description, instructions) is processed by the tool to generate your output.
  • Your input may be transmitted to a third-party AI model provider for the sole purpose of producing the tailored resume.
  • We do not store your resume content on our server. The tool is intended for one-off use within your session.
  • Please do not paste sensitive information such as government IDs, financial account numbers or other personal data you do not want processed by a third-party AI service.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for essential site functions, to remember your preferences and, with your consent, to analyse site usage. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie banner shown when you first visit the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Where third-party analytics tools are used, those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. These are only enabled after you give consent.

Disclosure of your information

We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers only where necessary to deliver our services to you. This can include:

  • Web hosting and email service providers used to run this site and our business.
  • AI model providers that power the Tailored Resume Assistant.
  • Analytics tools (only where consent has been given).
  • Government agencies, regulators or other parties where we are legally required to do so.

Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the APPs.

How we store and protect your information

We store your information on secure hosting services, protected by access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and login protections. We keep your data only for as long as we need it to deliver our services, meet our legal obligations or resolve disputes.

No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. If we ever become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will follow the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Withdraw your consent to optional tracking at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

Complaints and the OAIC

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or have not handled your privacy concern properly, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
